In 2024, TP Facades was proud to be selected as the cladding remediation design & build contractor for the prestigious St. Giles Hotel in Feltham, Heathrow. This landmark project showcased our ability to manage complex challenges and deliver exceptional results.
Our work at the St. Giles Hotel involved the complete removal of existing fire-hazardous insulation. This was meticulously replaced with Rockwool dual density insulation, a superior material known for its excellent thermal and fire-resistant properties. Additionally, we installed a new, durable facing system using SPS Envirowall. This award-winning insulation system is highly versatile, suitable for a wide range of buildings from low- to high-rise, and compatible with both masonry and framed construction. SPS Envirowall systems are not only ideal for significantly improving a building's EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) ratings during refurbishments but also provide a modern aesthetic upgrade with various decorative finishes.
A critical aspect of this project, and all our work, was the successful management of key relationships with architects, building owners, and local communities, ensuring a collaborative and transparent remediation process.
